A bit of introduction

Today constitutes my first day as a blogger. So, on the extraordinarily small chance that someone is actually reading this, a bit of introduction. In my two years working at a law school, I have become fascinated by the trivialities and triumphs that is the law. I intend to do here what I cannot at work: Offer up my own bite-sized nuggets of pop culture-infused legal perspective. Your guess is as good as mine at how quickly this space morphs into a lawmentarium.

LA's ban on fast food restaurants

Sounds like one step away from banning potted plants. The City Council needs to make healthy food -- organics, low-fat, etc. -- more affordable through subsidies or other policies if it wants to eliminate the easiest and cheapest food option in most low-income areas: fast food.
